My 5 day Shadowing Confiedence Courses are designed for New Locksmiths that would like to learn how to transition from a locksmith classroom environment, out into the real world of Locksmithing, in a relaxed atmosphere. We will work through all the jobs together that come in whilst you are with me. I’ll show you what I’m doing and explain why on every job we carry out together. You’ll see me deal with customers, take payments, and deal with the inevitable problems that arise. When there are no jobs booked in, we will be at the training room and we can practice any aspect of locksmithing that you want to brush up on! So whether that’s practicing non destructive entry methods on the door setup’s, lock picking, lock fitting, uPVC gearbox changes, high security bumping, opening up jammed upvc mechanisms…………anything you feel you need more practice on, we can cover together to help you gain the confidence you need.

Standard & High Security Bump Keys

On this 1 Day bumping course we will be teaching you the unique techniques required to be able to use Seth Ryden’s (Fortress Locksmiths) High Security Cylinder Lock Bump Keys as well as standard bump keys from Mark Ward (Bumpkeys4you)
Seth has developed a HUGE range of Bump Keys for opening 1 & 3 star cylinders that were previously thought to be ‘UN-BUMPABLE’ such as: ABS Master, Apecs AP, Ultion, Ultion WXM, Ultion Vertical Profile, Yale Platinum, Yale Superior, E*S MP10 and MORE………With A Very High Success Rate. Some of the techniques for bumping these High Security Locks differ from normal bumping due to the pin configuration or sliders often found in High Security Locks. We will also be covering standard and 1 star bump keys including Standard Yale profiles, Versa and ERA BS on standard cylinders and thumb turns. If bumping isn’t in your armoury then this course is ideal for you, as its certainly a hugely underestimated non destructive opening technique. You will be surprised by the amount of locks these bump keys can open.
1-1 Introduction To AUTO Locksmithing Course

This is a 2 day Introduction into Auto Locksmithing.
Over the 2 days you will be learning the basic skills for you to be able to carry out and offer some Auto Locksmithing works to your customers.
This is a fantastic way of increasing your workload and income for a very low outlay compared to a full Auto Locksmithing setup.

This 2 Day Lock Fitting Course will show you how to fit an abunance of Nightlatches and Mortice Locks from Fresh Fits to Retro Fits.
We will start with fitting the basic Nightlatch and gradually work our way up to installing the more complicated British Standard Nighlatches.
On day 2 we will be fitting Mortice Locks. We will start with a small internal 3 lever mortice lock which we will fit by hand. We will then work our way up to a British Standard Mortice Lock. I will also show you how to use the SOUBER Mortice Jig to help speed things up for you in the field.
Lock Fitting is a major part of what we do as locksmiths and is hugely overshadowed by most other Locksmith Training Courses. However, we like to make sure you are in the know when it comes to all things Lock Fitting.
