Today we were proud to welcome Clive Kearsey of Lockrite to our Brighton & Hove Locksmith Training centre for a full day of Lock Bumping Training.
Clive joined us to enhance his knowledge and hands-on skills in one of the most important areas of the locksmith trade, understanding and executing lock bumping techniques used in real-world scenarios.

New Key Cutting Machine
We’ve added key cutting to the Locksmith Courses
We’re pleased to announce that Brighton & Hove Locksmith Training Ltd has recently invested in a new key cutting machine, allowing us to offer key cutting training as part of our domestic locksmith courses. This exciting addition means students can now gain hands-on experience in cutting a range of household keys, learning proper techniques, safety procedures, and troubleshooting tips. It’s another step in ensuring our trainees leave fully prepared with the practical skills needed to offer a complete locksmith service.

We’re excited to announce our new 2 Day Introduction to Auto Locksmith Course at Brighton & Hove Locksmith Training Ltd! This hands-on course is perfect for anyone looking to expand their skills into the automotive side of locksmithing. Over two days, trainees learn essential techniques including vehicle lockouts using Lishi picks, car key cutting, and car key and remote cloning. Chris recently returned to Brighton & Hove Locksmith Training Ltd to continue developing his skills, this time enrolling in our 3 Day Locksmith Shadowing Confidence Course. Over the three days, he worked closely alongside Andy, gaining hands-on experience with lock openings, replacements, and upgrades in real-world scenarios. We recently hosted another small group training course at Brighton & Hove Locksmith Training Ltd, led by Andy & Brian, this time focusing on domestic Lishi picking and lock opening. The course gave attendees hands-on experience using Lishi tools on a variety of domestic locks, teaching precision, technique, and efficiency. It was a highly interactive session, with everyone improving their practical skills and gaining confidence in tackling real-world lock challenges.

We recently ran our second group training course at Brighton & Hove Locksmith Training Ltd, this time focusing on a 2 Day Mortice Lock Opening Course. The course gave trainees the opportunity to develop their non-destructive opening skills on a wide range of mortice locks, using a variety of professional tools and techniques. It was a hands-on and engaging couple of days, with everyone making great progress and gaining confidence in tackling one of the most challenging areas of locksmithing.

We get the keys to our new Locksmith Training Room in Brighton
We’re thrilled to announce that Brighton & Hove Locksmith Training Ltd has reopened our brand-new training room in Brighton after an eight-month break. Following the loss of our previous space, we’ve taken the time to create a fully equipped, modern training environment designed to deliver high-quality, hands-on locksmith courses. Our new room allows us to run a full range of practical sessions safely and efficiently, and we’re excited to welcome both new and returning students back to continue learning and developing their skills.
